Nice list! I liked Think and Grow Rich too. But, I really love 4 Hour Workweek. Fooled by Randomness is next on my list (loved The Black Swan). Right now I'm reading Options Made Easy by Guy Cohen.

I am reading Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" book, and it's funny the reaction I have gotten from people who have also read it. Some people think it's too "woo-woo" with no science behind it, and that it's pretty much a crock. Others say that it is the best business book out there. I agree with the latter. What I have taken from it is simply "know what you want, and don't give up." In that regard, some of the things I have applied that theory to have worked out splendidly for me..

@Kyle

I don't know if I thrive on chaos, but since it's in ready supply, a ever-renewable resource even, I may as well try to!

And now E-Myth is on the way from Amazon because the waiting list for a BookMooch is looong. I've seen it referred to least 4 times this week and need to read what I've been missing. Raving Fans was on my Wishlist from visiting your site, and I just added Revolutionary Wealth.

Thanks! Just what I need, more books! :D

Thanks guys,

Yeah, it's huge. A former medical cart, I think. Medical-inspired was very "in" about ten years ago, which means it's out now (but that article's already on my blog). In my bedroom, being a little out is okay. Clients don't see it.

:)

Until later,

Crystal,

What a great list. I must admit, I've only read a few of these so far, but I've added many of them to my to-do list. I especially like "Think and Grow Rich" and "Thriving on Chaos." If I'm not attempting to do four things at once, something's wrong.

There are a few books I've mentioned on my site recently that I'd recommend to any small business owner: "The E-Myth," "Raving Fans," and "Revolutionary Wealth." If you're just starting out, "The E-Myth" is a must read.

@Kelly - Wow, you must have one enormous nightstand. Thanks for the extra links. I'll have to browse around a bit.

Hi Kelly,

Many thanks and welcome!

I had a great time reading your nightstand list and posted my own in the comments. You've so enjoyed "Never Eat Alone", I'll have to find a copy...

If you're up for a peek at all my books (not just the business ones), visit my LibraryThing catalog

Best,
Crystal

Hey, Crystal, I popped over here from Naomi's IttyBiz. You've got some neat articles here!

There's a couple of books up there on my next-up list, and several I've already read. Thanks.

If you're running low on business reading, check out this list I wrote last week. It's neat to see what's on other people's shelves.

I'm going to go subscribe now, so keep up the good work!

Regards,
